Shipping for the LGL Network

Welcome! As a fulfillment partner of Live Good Logistics, your products are sold through our network of retail stores — and you ship them. This guide covers everything you'll see day to day.

The short version: orders appear in your Shopify like any other order, and you ship them the way you always do. Everything else is automatic.

Not on Shopify?

If you fulfill for LGL without a Shopify store, see the Partner API — same program, connected by API.

Getting connected (one time, two minutes)

  1. We send you an install link for the LGL app.
  2. Open it, approve the install, done.

From then on, your store and ours stay in sync on their own. LGL imports the products we've agreed to carry — you don't need to change anything about how your store is set up.

Inventory: just keep your store accurate

Whatever stock your Shopify shows is what our network sells. When your stock changes, ours updates automatically within seconds — and if something sells out on your side, it stops being sold across our network automatically.

Your only job: keep your Shopify inventory accurate. No spreadsheets, no reports, no portal to update.

When an order comes in

An LGL order appears in your Shopify admin as a normal, already-paid order. Here's how to read it:

What you'll seeWhat it means
Customer: Live Good LogisticsWe're the buyer. All LGL orders group under this one customer.
Shipping address: a person's nameThe end customer — that's who you ship to.
Prices: your agreed costWhat we pay you for each item (settled weekly — see Getting paid).
Order noteIf present, it's a gift message — see below.

The tags on our orders

TagWhat it means
LGL-DropshipThis order is from us. Use this tag to filter LGL orders in your admin — and to exclude them from any marketing or auto-notification apps you run.
LGL-FO-… and #LGL…Our internal reference numbers. Please leave all tags in place — they're how the automation tracks the order.
ReplacementA courtesy reship of an earlier order. Pack and ship as normal.

Gift messages — one thing to remember

If the order has a note, it's the customer's gift message. Please include it with the package (a gift slip or card is perfect).

And whether or not there's a gift note: never include prices, invoices, or receipts in the box. The prices on the order are wholesale, not what the customer paid.

Shipping: exactly what you already do

  1. Pack the order.
  2. Fulfill it in Shopify with the tracking number and carrier, just like any other order.

That's the whole process. The tracking number flows to the retailer and on to the customer automatically — you never need to email anyone. Shipping in more than one package? Fulfill each part as it ships; partial fulfillments are fully supported.

Address changes and cancellations

  • Address changes: if a customer updates their address before you ship, the order in your Shopify updates automatically. Just always ship to the address on the order at the moment you pack it.
  • If we cancel (customer changed their mind): the order cancels in your Shopify automatically. Nothing for you to do.
  • If you can't fulfill (out of stock, damage): cancel the order in your Shopify. We're alerted the moment you do and we'll take care of the customer — no email needed, though a heads-up on why is always appreciated.

Getting paid

Weekly. You'll receive a statement listing everything you shipped that week at the agreed cost, and payment follows by ACH or invoice. Want to double-check it? Run a Shopify sales report filtered to the LGL-Dropship tag — it will match the statement to the penny, because every order is priced at your cost.
